Bikeventure - Making a mobile VHF/UHF bicycle setup

Been slowly getting together a bike setup (also an excuse to test file uploads).

Basically:
  • Rear rack uses a bracket I got from Tower Electronics, just a normal SO-239 bracket
  • Light nestles up against the bracket (Funny enough holding it in place until I can drill a second hole)
  • HT is mounted way too high up, need to probably 3D print a custom radio holder, the stuff off of Amazon/Lido sucks
  • Reception is good
  • Made contact with the Lone Ranger Wellness Night while on a ride tonight, seems good
  • Need a better mic holder
  • Was worried about wanting a headset but honestly I can hear fine, I don't talk much, and the noise I make usually causes people to notice I'm behind them which is handy (bike is pretty silent)
