Forum Bridge -- Post Thread Updates?

Here's something I've been pondering, do we care to post about thread updates in Slack?

Generally I don't, activity around here allows me to swing by occasionally (even if it's mostly my announcements recently or long-term content archival like pictures of projects).

but those that use Slack as their funnel (which the Mastodon bridge has effectively allowed you to do), there may be interest in posting updates to channels too, not just the first posts.

Are there any downsides to the forum bridge? or unpleasant maintenance and configuration?

Nope, just a little bit more code, the webhooks are easy and tied into Devanooga's bot code -- it's basically just out here to see if there is interest in it (yeah the forums are pretty quiet these days), we may revisit if the forums get more activity.

I'm trying to move some of my long-form discussion stuff here and leave Slack for friendly chat stuff.
